Sometimes even great lessons do not always produce

you have just taught in class. They answer your oral questions,
perform well on a class activity, and even do well on a quiz at the end
of the period. Unfortunately, days later when your done with the
lesson, they seemed to have forgotten much of what they apperared to
have learned. This happens despite homework, class worksheets, graphic
organizers, and all your best efforts. What many teachers may not
realize is that the students probably do have this material in their
memory (and it may be there for the rest of their lives). The problem
they have is not their memory, but rather recalling information from
their memory. These research
kits address this issue by showing how to use "deliberate distractions"
and a 3 stage learning process as a way to improve the recall of
